Term Glossary

  • Consumer Credit Record: The assembly of Credit Facts and Consumer Facts. A consumer credit record is the input into the KlearLink system.

    • Credit Facts: Information on the consumers' credit they have or applied to have from a lending organization.
    • Consumer Facts: Information on the loan applicant (consumer).
  • Credit State: The lifecycle state of the borrower's individual credit product. (part of Credit Facts)

  • Consumer Match: The relationship between a Consumer Credit Record submitted by your organization and a Consumer Credit Record submitted by a different organization. A consumer match is the outcome of the KlearLink system.

  • API: Software interface for submitting lending instances and obtaining lending matches. The API system allows lenders to provide lending instances and consume consumer matches.

  • Webhooks: Software interface for real-time updates for lending matches.

  • Data ETL: An alternative to API Steps 1 & 2 that automates the submission of lending instances from a lender's org into the KlearLink system.
